Shelly's Garden
Shelly's Garden
Dear Friend,
The holidays are over, and we can certainly look back with pride at how our beautiful Mikdash Me’at served our kehillah. Wasn’t it wonderful for all of us to be davening under one roof for the first time?
As the final details of the interior of the building are being addressed, we need to turn our attention to the exterior as well. You may remember that before we embarked on the addition to and renovation of our shul, we had dedicated the landscaping on the corner of the property in memory of our dear chaver, Shelly Leffel, A”H.
At this time, on the occasion of his 4th yahrtzeit, we turn to the kehillah once again to support the refurbishing of Shelly’s Garden this spring, which will encompass not only the original project, but the area in front of the new addition as well . We are sure it will be something in which Shelly A”H would have taken great pride. Shelly A”H considered the shul his home, and encouraged all of us to feel similarly. As we all remember, the beautification of Beth Aaron was always a priority for him.
Please consider making a donation in Shelly’s memory to dedicate the new garden. Checks can be sent to the shul with “Shelly’s Garden” on the memo line. All donations will be acknowledged in the shul bulletin.
Thanks so much.
