Over bagels and coffee, we will discuss Sons and Soldiers: The Untold Story of the Jews Who Escaped the Nazis and Returned With the U.S Army to Fight Hitler, by Bruce Henderson.

This exciting nonfiction book is a fast read and tells the previously little known story of the Richie Boys, young men who escaped from Europe and were recruited by the OSS for their knowledge of the German language and its culture. Trained to gather intelligence, they enlisted and fought for their new country and were also utilized as translators and interrogators at the end of the war. There are copies of this book in print, downloadable, and in audio.
