Please join and participate with us on Sunday, May 1, at our shul's Chesed Day 2023. Part of our shul's year-long 50th anniversary celebration, Chesed Day 2022 will provide us with an opportunity to come together as a shul and spend a few hours giving back to our greater community. Also, please come back to the shul at 5pm to join us for a BBQ on the shul patio.

Chesed opportunities will include:

Outdoor cleanup at the Mount Richmond Cemetery in Staten Island, NY (9:30 to 11am)
Sorting and packing clothes for Yad Leah at their warehouse in Passaic, NJ (10 to 11:30am or 2 to 3:30pm if the morning slot gets full) - Ages 5 and up (Yadleah.org)
Packing food with Bergenfield Food Pantry in Bergenfield, NJ (9:30 to 10:30am) FULL
Purchasing and dropping off supplies at the shul for Ukrainian Refugees (supplies to be donated to baranova27.org.) (9 to 12pm)
Assistance with shul projects
Drop off for Gemachs
Letter writing for US and IDF soldiers
