On Sunday evening, August 21, Beth Aaron’s 50th Anniversary Committee is excited to present the launch of the Scholar-in-Residence CBA Alumni Series with a shiur by Rabbi Dr. Ephraim Kanarfogel (E. Billi Ivry University Professor of Jewish History, Literature and Law, Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, Yeshiva University, and Rabbi of Congregation Beth Aaron from 1983 to 2002), Rabbi Dr. Kanarfogel will speak on the topic “On the Development and History of the Bracha for the Blowing of the Shofar.”
